3 Personalized Event Activations We Love
The purpose of event activations is to give something for attendees to experience. We are finding that as people are cherishing the in-person experience even more nowadays, that personalized activations are the best way to create memorable activations that guests enjoy!
Custom Engraving/Calligraphy: We recently had Letterati at our event doing calligraphy on basketballs for guests to take home. Guests could choose between a script font or a block font. The options for this are endless: yeti thermoses, notebooks, etc!
Live Poetry: Options can include a short haiku from Haikuists or longer poetry from Jennifer Barone. The poet will ask a few questions and write beautiful frame-able poetry. Guests feel seen and get something to take home they will truly cherish.
Tarot Card Reading: In the San Francisco area, we’ve always been a bit more open-minded to mysticism. This has been a huge hit at events. Whether you believe the cards are true, or view it as more entertainment, it’s a fun thing for guests to enjoy and is a fun conversation topic for them afterward. We have loved working with Sea Tarot on our events who are professional experts while keeping a positive spin on the cards. One theme we loved, was “Fortune Favors the Bold” for an event with lots of entrepreneurs and VC attendees.
